Course Description
This comprehensive course, designed for plastic surgeons and those who assist in their practice, will focus on minimally-invasive techniques and technologies for facial and neck rejuvenation. The faculty will explore how combination therapy with skin care products, energy-based procedures, neuromodulators, soft tissue fillers and suspension sutures can help achieve a rejuvenated look that comes close to the results that were once only achievable with surgery. Morning lectures will focus on new additions to the restoration toolbox. Panel discussions will focus on:

  • My Approach to Achieving Surgical Face Lift Results with Minimally-Invasive Options
  • The Value of the Minimally-Invasive Patient to My Practice

Desired Outcomes:

  • Describe techniques/products used to rejuvenate the aging neck and discuss how to safely and effectively incorporate these into your practice.
  • Identify characteristics and benefits of resorbable suspension sutures
  • Critically assess the array of FDA-approved hyaluronic acid fillers and identify areas of the face and injection techniques that have demonstrated safe and satisfactory patient outcomes for each of these fillers.
  • Implement strategies to minimize and manage adverse events of facial injectables including bruising, infection/biofilms, and lumps and bumps.
  • Devise individualized management plans for aesthetic facial rejuvenation using combination procedures including facial injectables, energy-based procedures and/or absorbable sutures.
