  • Recognize issues for successful use of transaxillary endoscopic approach for breast augmentation using all types of silicone gel devices, including highly cohesive gel silicone gel implants, and saline devices. 
  • Evaluate and differentiate between incision planning for saline and silicone gel and saline devices
  • Identify specific issues of technique using an endoscope to establish correct tissue planes and to create a precise breast implant pocket, including when and how to lower the inframammary fold
  • Discuss how to stabilize the breast implant and tissue pocket using intraoperative and post-operative techniques for tissue support, thereby minimizing issues of implant malposition
  • Assess issues specific to shaped highly cohesive silicone gel implants using this approach
  • Present issues to simplify and facilitate routine use of this technique into your practice.
