Aesthetic Surgery Journal is a peer-reviewed international journal focusing on scientific developments and clinical techniques in aesthetic surgery. An official publication of The Aesthetic Society, ASJ is also the official English-language journal of many major international societies of plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery representing South America, Central America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. It is also the official journal of the Canadian Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, The Rhinoplasty Society, and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.

ASJ is indexed with MEDLINE/PubMed and covered by the Clarivate Journal Citation Report. ASJ’s current (2020) Impact Factor is 4.283 and it is ranked 37 of 212 among all journals in the category Surgery. ASJ is presently ranked #1 among all aesthetic surgery journals and #2 among all plastic surgery journals.
