Contact Information: Constantino Mendieta, MD This a 12 month fellowship concentrating on body 80% and breast contouring 20%. This is a very progressive, forward thinking, unique and life changing fellowship (this is for sure not your traditional learning). It is not just about learning a particular surgical technique and how one surgeon does things but rather it is about giving you a greater gift. I trained with Dr Brue Connell and spent 2 months, he changed my life and advanced 20 years or perhaps a level I could never have reached on my own. I was given the greatest gift that would shape my future. IT was the gift of vision and evaluation he taught me to see things I could never see on my own, this would allow me to develop and revolutionize body and gluteal contouring surgery. All patients are different how do you identify the differences and vary technique based on presenting anatomy and couple it with patient desires You will not only learn the latest and not yet published state of the art body contouring techniques, but it will completely change the way you approach patients. You will be given tools to shape your future and you will learn all aspects of our field, technique, patient selection, the art of consultation, personality assessment of patients to help in consultation, practice management, sun tanning in Florida (how to avoid sun burns and still look good). Your surgical skills are innate, and some can be taught and improved but refining your aesthetic eye is a life learning process, this can be accelerated with the proper guidance. |
