What is the approximate surgical time for a full tummy tuck?

Q:

I wanted to know approximately how long the surgical time might be for a  full tummy tuck with muscle repair, and liposuction of the flanks and abdomen. Thank you

A:

The surgical time for a full tummy tuck, muscle repair and flank liposuction varies somewhat by your exact needs, but takes around 4 hours. Plan to be at the surgery center for a minimum of 6-7 hours to allow for pre-op, surgery and recovery.
