Young women wanting to stop the aging process and baby boomers aiming to reverse it are turning more to fillers, facelifts and other procedures that drove the plastic surgery industry revenue to a record $15 billion last year, an industry organization said on Wednesday.
More Millennials are opting for quick and easy cosmetic procedures, namely Botox, and social media and selfie culture could be to blame.
In the survey of 483 blinded, naive observers rating independent patient images, face lift surgery was associated with patients appearing younger, more attractive, healthier, and more successful, and overall healthier.
