How difficult is it to remove or reduce nasal fillers after rhinoplasty?

Q:

I had septo-rhinoplasty with hump reduction more than 8 months ago.  When I had the surgery I told the doctor I did not want a super thin nose, so he suggested fillers.  Now that my nose is straighter, I feel that it will look better if it is refined and not as full around the lateral cartilage.  I do not remember the brand/type of fillers implanted but I wonder if it is it possible to reduce or remove some of the fillers to define my nose more.

May I suggest you contact your Rhinoplasty surgeon, ask what was the name of the filler and how long it should expected to last. Then, consider waiting it out. Both for the filler to absorb and for the edema or swelling to go down following your procedure. Yes, this could take 6 to 8 months but, be patient. If you like the result of your surgery it most likely will only improve with time. Best,
