Will laser reshaping of nasal septum correct my nose?

Q:

I've had rhinoplasty with horrific results and I was wondering if there are doctors that offer laser reshaping of the nasal cartilage in order to fix my deformed nose. I appreciate any advice.

A:

Lasers are typically only expensive adjuvants or assistants in nasal surgery. Consider first obtaining your surgery operative reports and pre-operative nasal pictures. Then, write down the three things you really do not like about your nose. For example I have trouble breathing through my nose, I have a saddle nose, etc.. Lastly, consider a consult with a member of the Rhinoplasty Society ( ww.rhinoplastysociety.org ) in your local area. They are experts in Corrective Rhinoplasty Surgery. Best,
