Is liposuction of the upper abdomen during a full tummy tuck with hernia repair possible?

Q:

Can I have liposuction of the upper abdomen during a full tummy tuck with hernia repair?

A:

Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) should include defatting of the upper abdomen if necessary, and this can be done either with liposuction or by direct excision during the procedure.
