Daniel C. Mills, II, M.D., FACS
While my approach to plastic surgery blends the latest in technique and technology, I believe that a truly satisfied patient fundamentally begins with a strong patient-doctor relationship. I aim to treat every person like family, which impacts the effort and energy I invest into each surgery. Each person who walks into my office has individual goals and expectations. I strive to build trust and confidence by listening to each patients needs and educating them on all available alternatives.
Most surgeries are performed at the Oceanview Ambulatory Surgery Center (OASC), a private surgical facility that offers the highest level of confidentiality to patients. OASC is Medicare certified, which means it has met very strict requirements for providing quality, cost effective surgical care. In addition to employed medical staff with current Advanced Cardiac Life Support training and certification, OASC is equipped with the necessary equipment to monitor your vital signs in both the operating and recovery rooms.
Our goal with the consultation process is to provide you with all the information you need to make a well-informed decision as to whether plastic surgery is right for you. Your consultation will begin with your initial inquiry via telephone or e-mail. In addition to scheduling an appointment, you will have the opportunity to ask any preliminary questions. On the day of your consultation, you will fill out our health history and registration paperwork. In addition, you will watch an educational video produced by Dr. Mills about the procedure. After the video you will meet with Dr. Mills and his patient coordinator. Dr. Mills will ask you what you are looking to achieve through plastic surgery and take the time to address your needs and expectations. He will review with you what to expect with surgery and advise you on his recommendations specifically for you. We will provide you with an informational packet and show you before and after photos of Dr. Mills’ patients. If you would like to speak to a previous patient about the procedure, we would be happy to provide you with a phone reference. We ask that you allow approximately an hour and a half for your consultation visit. To schedule a consultation, you can call our office or visit www.danmillsmd.com
