Make a plan for a healthy lifestyle in 2011
January 20, 2011
For many people, the New Year is a time to get in shape and start living a healthier lifestyle. However, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the best way to lose weight and keep it off is to practice healthy habits all year around. Consistent, smart lifestyle choices will reduce the need to make a New Year's resolution in the first place. Experts say there are several tips that can make following a nutritious diet easier than one might think.
One of the most important things to do is include plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables into one's diet, but a variety is important. Additionally, eating healthy fare does not mean one has to eat boring meals. Foods such as barbecued chicken, roasted pork and Canadian bacon are all healthy and delicious.
Perhaps most crucial, experts say, is to have a plan. Scheduling time to exercise along with eating healthy will be helpful to those looking for a more svelte physique in the coming year.
For those who have met their weight loss goals, but still have problem areas, plastic surgery may be a viable option. Liposuction can target specific areas on the face, neck and upper arms that are hard to reach otherwise. Be sure to consult your doctor before making any extreme changes to your diet regimen and a board-certified plastic surgeon for any cosmetic procedures.
